21-year-old Laura arrives home from school to find her host, Stella, and her paralyzed husband, Mario, waiting with a gourmet dinner to celebrate her first month at their home. Despite having arranged a call with her mother in Colombia, Laura is instead coerced by Stella into bathing Mario following dinner. After carrying him upstairs, drawing a bath, and undressing him, Stella offers marijuana to Laura. Slowly, Laura begins to lose control of her surroundings, realizing she might be falling into a terrifying trap.
